To say I am actually a Restaurant Diva is a stretch since I live in Abilene, TX but I crave adventure in my life!  So I created this blog to justify eating out on a small budget.

I review restaurants in the Abilene area.  “Area” will cover the surrounding counties like Jones, Shackleford, Haskell, Fisher, Nolan, etc.  And sometimes… I take road trips!  Around Texas and the rest of the U.S.! 

What restaurants do I review?  I limit myself to local eateries.  I try to make sure the establishment is specific to that area because who cares about Taco Bueno?  We all know what that food tastes like.  I also want to promote good local businesses because they deserve it!

I want my reviews to be like a conversation with a good friend.  A little rambling, focusing on atmosphere and good deals!  And of course, taste, but since I have no culinary training I won’t try to be too pretentious.  I hope!  I am the Restaurant Diva after all!
